Lets talk about our JV Team

Junior Varsity Football 

            It was a cool night, perfect for football.  The team took the field and with the absense of officials the game was underway.  Many things happened this night fans.  First the other team did not score on us with in the first two minutes.  We in the stands took this to be a good sign and as the night progressed we were vindicated in that thought. 

            Twice our defense stopped a field goal attempt, twice more they held their ground inside the ten yard line to prevent a score and in the final moments of the game when the Eagles were on the two yard line for four consecutive plays our defense held them to zero yards gained and no points. 

            The offense moved the ball really well and made some impressive gains.  The three and outs were reduced and our newest receiver was spectacular in his catches. We also nearly broke a kickoff return for a TD, it gave us the best field starting position we have had as a team this year to date.

            Even though the score ended as a zero to zero tie, by far this was the best performance of our players this season.  Great job J.V. Raiders, your are an inspiration to the rest of the players.
